I could live in a good pencil skirt. By “good” I mean chic, flattering, and most importantly, comfortable. I refuse to wear garments that restrict my normal range of motion, so the ultra tight pseudo-fashion-forward skirts which prohibit me from sitting down don’t work well in my wardrobe. Not only is this asymmetrical black wrap pencil skirt from Jesse’s Girl Boutique, whose grand opening is Saturday in Lake Mary, FL, soft and airy, but its high waist is extremely complimentary and gives off what I consider that “I can be high fashion” vibe. Its classy sassiness– I rolled my eyes at myself as I constructed that phrase, but there’s no other way to describe it– was quite literally a perfect match for the gorgeous new Love Crossbody bag from Rebecca Minkoff I scored from Glamhive.
If you’ve never heard of them, Glamhive is a social media platform for every day fashionistas to share, shop, and discover their unique style. Just sign up here, post a shoppable look, and tag the items in your ensemble to start earning rewards. Also, smoke out other vixens with great style and keep up with the latest wearable trends (not confining body wrap pencil skirts that are unwearable without enduring mass amounts of discomfort). Oh, and raise your hand if you want to win a Rebecca Minkoff bag of your choice! Because of their awesomeness, I’ve teamed up with Glamhive and Rebecca Minkoff for a fall campaign, and we’re giving away one of her beautiful handbags. To enter, join Glamhive and enter the giveaway via Instagram here. I’ll be posting on my Instagram channel shortly, as well. Good luck!
Thank you to Amanda from Jesse’s Girl Boutique capturing for these photos! Full outfit details at the bottom of this post. I apologize in advance for not wearing sunglasses— Florida girl problems.

Such an exciting giveaway! Can’t wait to enter!
Obsessed with that skirt! I have a pencil skirt but it’s SOOO restricting. It makes me never want to wear it. I wish I lived near this boutique so I could pick up one of these skirts for myself!
