The Oscars 2014 were a hit, on and off the red carpet. Aside from the whole “Leo not getting his Oscar” drama (poor lil’ guy), I couldn’t have fallen anymore in love with Ellen, the night’s winners, and –of course–the elegant fashion. Plus, I threw a kickin’ Oscars watch party, and the Baileys cocktails made the drawn-out commercials all the more bearable. Here are my top picks for the best dressed ladies of the night:

10. Calista Flockhart in Andrew Gn
This ivory cap-sleeved gown is so simple yet elegant. She looks flawless. Also, her arm candy didn’t look too bad either. Hi, Han Solo.

9. Jennifer Lawrence in Dior
I just love her. She falls, she eats pizza, she jumps in Ellen Degeneres’ selfies. Regardless of what she actually wears, I think she looks great because I want to be her BFF. With that being said, she actually looks objectively stunning in this peplum-wasted red gown.

8. Olivia Wilde in Maison Valentino
I am just about sick and tired of Olivia looking unnaturally hot while pregnant. This dress, with a stylishly mod panel of white in the back (not visible), is the definition of sleek and sexy.
7. Amy Adams in Gucci
Amy looks radiant in this strapless navy gown. I want her figure, her sleek up-d0, and her jewelry. I just adore everything about the classiness of this design.  If it weren’t for Sandra Bullock, she may have been #1.

6. Glenn Close in Zac Posen
Considering all of her acting credits (Fatal Attraction, 101 Dalmations, etc.), all signs pointed to being scared by Glenn Close. Quite the contrary, y’all; she looks fun and fancy-free! Her black fit and flare mermaid dress is something I would die to own myself, and she is rocking the heck out of the silhouette!

5. Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace
I want this for Miss Florida, and I want it now. Kate’s cape-shouldered sparkly white gown stood out like none other. Everything, from the drop dead gorgeous plunging neckline to the elegant train, is fashion gold. She is breathtaking.

4. Charlize Theron in Dior
I would give an organ to try this on. She looks like a supermodel, ready to rock the runway or red carpet. This plunging black masterpiece is so intricate and high fashion I can barely stand it. Ugh.
3. Maria Menounos in Johanna Johnson
Everything about Maria screams princess to me. The rhinestone detail is impeccable, and her hair is straight out of a Disney movie. I could definitely see myself duplicating her entire Oscars look on the Miss Florida stage. Conservative, classic, and oh-so-sexy!
2. Lupita Nyong’o in Prada
This. Everything about this. I love the neckline, I love the baby blue flowing fabric, and I adore the headband. The unexpected color and sparkling accessories definitely set her apart. She is Cinderella, and I’m obsessed.
1. Sandra Bullock in Alexander McQueen
Even when Sandra selects catastrophic wardrobe costumes (throwback: Golden Globes), she still ends up looking gorgeous. This round, she actually nailed the elements of style and sophistication in this inky navy strapless gown. Her silhouette is remarkable, her hair is perfection, and she just glows. Best dressed, best personality, best everything on my list.

Who were your favorites? Any worthy gowns I missed?!
Have a great week, loves!
