Every once in a while, a new brand comes along and really grabs my attention. Time and Tru is one of those brands. It’s available exclusively at Walmart, and you absolutely cannot beat the price point. Items from this new private label fashion brand range anywhere from $4 to $25, although most products fall comfortably below $20. To be totally transparent, I’ve never really purchased or worn any Walmart clothing brands before now. I’ve always been a Target girl to my core (see all my top spring style picks here!), and I never thought I’d love a brand as much as I love Mossimo. However, I picked up a few different items to create a few different spring looks for a sponsored Instagram project (this post is not sponsored by the way), and I was shocked. This line is actually really really good, y’all.
Since I’m genuinely a big fan (and an unlikely one at that), I wanted to share my top five Time and Tru items with y’all in today’s post. Unfortunately, Time and Tru has been selling like crazy, and a couple of my favorites are best sellers… aka they’re sold out. I’m crossing my fingers they restock, since I’d like to buy more of each style. I’ve linked similar items wherever that’s the case, though. Oh, and you can also catch a cool new video I shot to showcase Time and Tru clothing in action at the bottom of this post!
1. Time and Tru Leigh Tote, $13.97
The Time and Tru Leigh Tote is reversible and looks nearly identical to Nordstrom’s Reversible Street Level Tote, which retails for $50 and sells out within minutes every time it’s restocked. This reversible tote is available in almost a dozen different color combinations, comes with a matching wristlet, and features surprisingly impressive construction. The Leigh tote could easily carry a computer, groceries, or, of course, a bouquet of pretty spring flowers. Oh, and did I mention it’s $14?! Unreal. As far as material goes, you do get what you pay for, though. This bag is obviously not real leather, so keep that in mind.

2-3. Time and Tru Footbed Slide Sandals, $14.88 and Time and Tru H Band Sandals, $7.88
If you haven’t checked out the shoe aisle at Walmart lately, GO! Time and Tru’s got so many adorable sandals for spring and summer! I love the Time and Tru Footbed Slide Sandals because they’re uber comfy and essentially look identical to Birkenstocks, which retail for around $100. I bought the sand color in a size 8, and they fit perfectly (I’m normally a 7.5, so size up if you have the option). They also come in white and glittery pewter, too!
I also picked up a pair of Time and Tru H Band Sandals because A. they’re $8 and B. they’re perfect Hermes Oran sandal dupes and Steven Madden Greece sandal dupes. I grabbed the tan in a size 8, and they fit perfectly (again, I’m normally a size 7.5, so size up if you can). They also come in white, too!
4. Time and Tru Cold Shoulder Peasant Top, $13.44
The Time and Tru Cold Shoulder Peasant Top is one of my favorite tops in my closet. I bought it in both pink and blue, and it could easily pass as a $50 or $100 top at a trendy boutique. It’s super cute, comfy, and ultra flattering. Plus, the material is lightweight, which allows you to stay cool and dry even in the warmest climates. Unfortunately, this top was one of the first things to sell out online, but you may be able to find it in stores! I’m wearing a small, and it fits great, although I probably could’ve sized down to an XS. You can also find similar style tops here and here!

5. Time and Tru Lyocell Belted Shirtdress, $18.48
The Lyocell Belted Shirtdress was one of the first things I shoved in my shopping cart. It reminds me of a classic Ralph Lauren shirtdress, and I couldn’t say no to the pink stripes. I wasn’t sure how Walmart sizing would be, so I loved the fact that this dress has a belted waist and lightweight fabric. I went with an XS, and it fit perfectly. The Lyocell shirtdress also has long sleeves with 3/4-length roll tabs for warmer days, and it comes in a variety of patterns, including chambray. Most are currently sold out, but you should be able to find it in stores.

6. Time and Tru Soft Knit Color Jegging, $12.86
I was not expecting Walmart to be the ones to finally make a pair of jeggings that I actually like… but they did! These Soft Knit Color Jeggings are ridiculously comfy, flattering, and surprisingly well-sized. I bought a pair in pink, white, brownstone, and light denim in an XS, and I wear them everywhere. Side Note: All four pairs cost me a grand total of $52. I’ll admit that the white is a little see-through (you’ll be safe as long as you’re not wearing hot pink undies)… and that I wish these had pockets. However, you can’t beat that $13 price point.
Shop the Look: Time and Tru Printed Soft Shirt, $14.44 | Time and Tru White Jeggings, $12.86 (available in 8 different colors) | MoMo Tan Wedges, $29.97 (also available exclusively at Walmart) | Time and Tru Reversible Tote, $13.97
7. Time and Tru Printed Soft Shirt, $14.44
Time and Tru’s Woven Printed Soft Shirt is the perfect comfy work shirt, and it’s available in four office-appropriate patterns. I purchased this top in both blue polka dots and pink heart print, and the style reminds me of Lush’s popular roll tab tunic that retails for $40+ at Nordstrom. If you find it in stores, I’m wearing a small, and the fit is flattering and slightly oversized. Time and Tru’s printed soft shirt looks great with jeans (my preference!) or tucked into a skirt for work. You can also find similar style tops here and here!

I also put together this fun video to show off my favorite Time and Tru clothing items in action! Of course, Nala makes an obligatory appearance, as well.

Did I mention I’ve invested quite a bit of money in this line already? As quickly as stuff sells out (and yes, it happens fast), new styles are released! Check out more of my current favorites from Walmart’s Time and Tru clothing line below.
Have you picked any Time and Tru Walmart clothing yet? Were you as impressed as I am?
I agree completely. I am amazed with the style and quality. There are even accessories in this line that pull the look together at a ridiculously low price. I’ve had nothing but compliments.
Same! Glad you love it as much as I do! 🙂
Their millennium pull on pants in black and khaki are my favorite work pants ever! Their petite sizes are truly petite and this 5’1 girl can not be any happier! Finally, a plus sized straight leg pant that is comfy around the waist, while being fitted and flattering through the legs without looking like palazzo or skinny pants! I’m impatiently waiting for my store to restock as they are currently unavailable online!
I’m so glad you love the new line as much as I do! And thanks for the recommendation, Kelli! I’m going to have to give these Millennium Pull-On Pants a try– assuming they ever come back in stock online! 🙂
I discovered Time and Tru last year at Walmart. I purchased four of the t-shirts that was made with cotton, modal, and spandex. The shirts are very comfortable and kept their shape after washing and drying and still feel great! I went back to Walmart for the same t-shirts in different colors and when I picked up the t-shirt it had a different feel. I looked at the materials and it was made of cooro and spandex only, so I didn’t purchase. I would like to know why did they change the material base?
Hi Charisse,
I’ve noticed this, too, unfortunately… and I have no idea why. Maybe they’re trying to make their material more stretchy or something?! Either way, I hope they go back to cotton. So much more comfortable, especially for the warmer months. Thanks for reading!
Best,
Steph
Why did they change their Time and Tru Pull on Jeggings, I am so Disappointed with the new style and material, I’ve looked everywhere, even tried buying them used from different sites lol, any feedback is appreciated
Hi Rhonda,
Ugh, that’s the worst– I have NO idea why they’d switch up the style/material. Maybe try submitting feedback to their customer service department or leaving a review online. Hopefully, enough people will complain, and they’ll go back to the old pull-on jegging style.
Sorry I could be more help!
Steph
