4th of July try on haul from affordable fashion blogger Stephanie Ziajka on Diary of a Debutante

The 4th of July is around the corner, so I’m rounding up all my favorite red, white, and blue Amazon Fashion finds under $50 in today’s haul. Keep reading for this year’s full 4th of July try-on haul! Also, stay tuned for updates– I’ll be adding more throughout the week!

Amazon 4th of July Try-On Haul

1. Polka Dot Halter Dress

This dress, y’all. I know I say this all the time, but it really may be my favorite Amazon Fashion find ever. It’s so flattering, and I absolutely love the halter neck and open-back details (sharing a close-up below). For reference, this pattern is Polka Dot Red, and I’m wearing a size small.

Here’s a shot of the back! The only negative is that you can’t wear a regular bra with it. Other than that, this dress is as close to perfection as it gets.

2. Casual Striped Crew Tee

I don’t have enough comfy tees in my closet, so I actually bought this one in two patterns (this one and apricot). It looks pretty basic, but it’s super comfy, under $20, and the perfect length for anyone with a longer torso (like me).  It also comes in a bunch of different 4th of July-appropriate colors and prints, including navy stripe. For reference, this pattern is Red-White-Stripe, and I’m wearing a size small.

3. Blue Button-Front Midi Dress

Let me start off by saying that I love this blue striped pattern so much! It’s like blue seersucker but much less delicate. On the flip side, I don’t love the material. It feels less cottony and more stretchy/polyester-y (unlike the dress below, which is weird considering they’re from the same listing). For reference, I’m wearing a size small, and this pattern is just called “striped.”

4. Red Button-Front Midi Dress

In contrast to the dress above, this red button-front midi dress is super soft and comfy and feels like cotton, even though it’s not. It’s also got pockets and adjustable straps, and I love how flattering the cinched waist is (sharing a side shot below). For reference, this color is “red- soid” (I’m assuming it’s supposed to be solid), and I’m wearing a size small.

Here’s how this dress looks from the side. It’s a bit long, but I definitely prefer midi dresses in this button-front/big pocket style.

5. Light Blue Striped Tunic

I bought two of these tunics (the other pattern is up next), and I love them. The material is super light and perfect for summer. I will clarify that they’re not button-down shirts, though. They’re very much tunics of tunic length– just be aware of that. For reference, this pattern is Lake Blue/White Stripe, and I’m wearing a size XS.

Here’s what it looks like un-tucked (and un-steamed… sorry about that!).

6. Chambray-Striped Tunic

I’m a sucker for chambray, so I think I prefer this pattern to the one above. They’re both perfect for the 4th, though! For reference, this pattern is Chambray Blue Awning Stripe, and I’m wearing a size small.

If this were just a bit longer, I’d put a belt around the waist and wear it as a dress! If you’re much shorter (I’m 5’6.5″), you totally could!

7. White Eyelet Maxi Dress

I wasn’t expecting to like this dress (on me, that is), but I bought it anyway because I like the style and it has amazing reviews. Y’all, it’s gorgeous, and I may even wear it as a reception wedding dress. Just FYI- my actual dress is gorgeous but tight and not dance-friendly. It’s 100% (non-stretchy) cotton and just has the sweetest details. My personal favorites are the little pearls buttons that run down the front. The slit in the front is also fun, and it makes the material light and flowy. It helps keep your legs cool, even in Florida heat, too. For reference, this color is white, and I’m wearing a size 0-2.

I also love the ruffle bottom and the distinction between the slip inside and the embroidered eyelet material. It just makes it feel like the perfect hybrid between dressy and beachy!
