Happy first day of Spring, y’all! Easter is only a few weeks away, and it’s time to start locking down those brunch ensembles. I love wearing crisp white in the spring, so I’m particularly enamored by Banana Republic’s new arrivals. There’s lots of white and lots of lace! I took one look at this white eyelet midi dress and had to have it for upcoming Easter festivities. It’s unlike any other all white lace dress I’ve ever seen online– at least within my price range. This chic white eyelet midi dress is fitted through the chest with a flare skirt, tiered asymmetrical hem, and midi length that hits well below the knee. It’s also lined from the collar to the knee, which is plenty of coverage for me and women who are 5’7″ or shorter. If you’re particularly tall, the unlined hem could potentially be too revealing for church. Keep that in mind!
It’s funny– I’m usually not a fan of longer-length midi dresses. I’m 5’6.5″, so I like to simulate all the extra height I can get. If you’re in a similar boat and are wondering how to wear a midi dress without cutting off your legs, the answer is neutral-toned open toe sandals. Not close-toed pumps, not flat sandals. I styled this white eyelet midi dress with blush pearl heels as an Easter brunch outfit idea, and the end result was much more flattering than I ever thought possible. The skirt is just so flirty, feminine, and shamelessly twirl-worthy. I felt like a total princess shooting this look with Catherine Rhodes at the Muny in St. Louis! Aren’t these embellished Qupid Heeled Sandals just darling? They’re so cute in person and surprisingly comfy, too! If you’re mulling over how to style a midi dress for spring, I highly recommend these blush beauties. They also come in velvety black and rich navy, both of which are currently in my shopping cart!
