One of my favorite sales of the year is finally here! The Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale launched this morning, and to help y’all navigate the sale without any major disasters, I’m answering all your FAQs in today’s post!

One quick note before getting into the nitty gritty– if you’re on the fence about hopping in the queue line, remember that the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale only happens twice a year– once at the beginning of the year (sometime in the Winter– normally January) and once in the middle of the year (sometime in the Summer– normally August or September). You may’ve noticed that Lilly Pulitzer is no longer sold at mass retailers like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. That’s because Lilly only allows their items to be discounted during these two very short sale periods. So, Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale prices are hard to pass up, since hundreds of popular styles are up to 75% off. During past sales, I’ve picked up this top, these palazzo pants, this shirtdress, and this halter top!

When is the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale?

The Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale September 2019 started around 8AM ET on Monday, September 9, 2019 and end on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 11:59PM ET. Lilly Pulitzer retail stores are also participating in the After Party Sale, but keep in mind that not all items will be available in stores. 

Is there a benefit to shopping in stores?

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. During recent sales (including this one!), Lilly Pulitzer has had “Early Access” events, but from from experience, inventory is very limited. Even if you do shop in stores, perusing the entire online sale catalog is probably your best bet.

What’s on sale?

SO MUCH! And these are honestly some of the best Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale prices I’ve seen yet. Here are a few of my favorite finds!

Will Lilly Pulitzer be restocking items or adding any new releases during the sale? 

Yes, yes, yes! Lilly Pulitzer will be dropping several capsules throughout the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale September 2019. No one knows when, though, so follow along with them on Instagram for updates! 

How can I prepare for the sale?

Get ready before the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale by preemptively creating an account on the Lilly Pulitzer website. If you already have an account, log in and make sure your shipping address, billing address, and credit card information are up to date. 

What if the website crashes… again?

Girls like you and me go crazy for the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale– so much so that they have to implement a virtual queue line. The goal is to avoid a giant website crash, although it still manages to happen just about every time. My advice is to just be patient and remember that thousands of other Lilly lovers are experiencing the same frustration. Here are some tips to help make sure the process moves along swimmingly:

• Set an alarm. Odds are that you won’t be able to shop the sale right away, so hop in the virtual queue line while you get ready for work/school. 
• Once you’re in the virtual queue line, DO NOT REFRESH THE PAGE. This will reset your place in the queue. It’s happened to me, and it’s heartbreaking. So don’t. 
• If you don’t have one already, create an account on the Lilly Pulitzer website. If you do have an account, make sure all your information (shipping address, billing address, and credit card information) is correct. This makes checkout a breeze. 

Anything else I should know?

I add the same caveat every sale– remember that sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. I get it, the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale January 2019 is super exciting. However, once an order is placed, it’s placed. No changing sizes, patterns, or styles. So, remember to set a budget beforehand and review your order carefully before you place it. Otherwise, you may need to brush up on your Poshmark skills.
