First and foremost, I’d like to acknowledge the fact that this is one of the most “extra” posts I’ve ever written. That being said, I’ve discovered hand-crafted designer dog bows, and I’m full-on embracing how ridiculous my obsession is. To be fair, Nala and Nellie genuinely needed new collars for summer. I just couldn’t resist adding matching red ginghams sailor bows into the mix, too. I mean, I’m sorry, but how modelesque do Nala and Nellie look in their matching red gingham 4th of July dog bows and collars? The cuteness is immeasurable. Also, full disclosure– literally all of these photos are going into frames.

Anyways, moving on. If, by chance, you want to dress up your puppies for milestones or holidays (even large breeds like Goldens and German Shepherds), check out this shop on Etsy. They sell everything from cute female dog bows, including dog bows for large breeds, to custom leashes, and there are hundreds of adorable prints to choose from. The best part? If you’ve ever wondered how to make dog bows stay in, the answer is to buy the ones that slip right onto their collars, like these! They’re basically locked in place at all times, so there’s no fear of finding it on the floor and/or ripped to shreds the second you turn around.

Also, if you’re worried about how your dog will feel about having a giant bow around their neck, you can reposition these anywhere around their collar. Truthfully, Nala and Nellie don’t seem to mind wearing theirs in the slightest. Plus, they’re pretty big fans of the attention they get while twinning with one another.

Whether you’re buying for your dogs or for someone else’s (these cute dog bows make amazing gifts for dog moms!), I can’t recommend The Pampered Pooches highly enough. The quality is top notch, and the shipping was crazy fast. Also, for reference, our girls are around 65 pounds each, and I ordered 2 of these large 1″ collars and these large sailor bows. Let me know if you have any questions about sizing or quality. I’m more than happy to help!
